The following USC Marshall MBA interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 3 applicant. Good luck to them!

Overall the interview was very relaxed. I was able to interview on-campus with a member of the Adcom. The interviewer told me he had reviewed my application and had my résumé with him for the duration of the interview.

He asked the following questions:

1. Walk me through your résumé.
2. How did you choose your undergraduate school?
3. Why an MBA? Why Marshall?
4. Why now?
5. How will you contribute to the Marshall community?
6. What are your short-term goals? Long-term goals?
7. What would you do career wise if you are not accepted? (I am transitioning from the military so this may be because of my specific situation as a career switcher.)
8. Describe a leadership challenge you face.

After that, he opened it up to questions I had about the school. The entire interview was approximately 30 minutes with another 10 minutes for questions. I had a great day at USC Marshall during my visit, it seemed like a great to school to be from if your determined to stay in the LA area (excellent networking opportunities and an extremely active alumni base.)

After your USC Marshall interview, be sure to add your first-hand interview report to the Clear Admit Interview Archive.
