The following Michigan / Ross MBA interview questions & report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 applicant. Good luck to them!

Interview held on 6th Nov 2017

My interview was taken by a 2016 alumnus in a coffee shop. The atmosphere was relaxed and the interviewer was taking notes using the laptop, throughout the interview.

It was a blind interview and the interviewer had access to only my resume interviewer. He was looking at the soft copy of my resume on his laptop while asking questions regarding my work experience.

List of interview questions:
1. Tell me about yourself?
2. Why MBA? (Follow up questions about short-term goals)
3. Why Ross?
4. Your most challenging leadership experience? (Follow up question- what made it so challenging)
5. What is the most diverse or multicultural environment you’ve immersed in and how did you adapt? (follow-up question – how did you deal with the cultural difference)
6. Any questions for me?

I felt I bonded well with the alum and performed decently in the interview. It was mostly a conversational interview. After the interview, I sent my interviewer a thank you and did not receive any response.

From my interaction with the alum, I found him to really enthusiastic about the school which made me even more excited about Ross.

Finally, after a long wait, I received my admit call on 14th December.
