Northwestern / Kellogg MBA interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 applicant off-campus.

I met with a Kellogg alum at a coffee shop in New York City. The interviewer had not seen my application but had seen my resume. The interview started off with questions about my background and why I wanted to get an MBA. This discussion lead naturally to questions about challenges in my career thus far, what I had learned from them, and what I would do differently.

After that the discussion transitioned to what I wanted to do in the future, and why Kellogg was the right choice for me to get there. The entire interview took about 45 minutes and was very collegial the entire time. The interviewer was genuine and friendly, and didn’t throw any curveball questions at me. Overall a very friendly and pleasant experience, which reinforced my notion of Kellogg’s culture.
