With campuses located in France, Singapore and Abu Dhabi, INSEAD is known for its international orientation, academic rigor, and consistently high rankings.

One of INSEAD’s unique features is that its standard course of study is an accelerated 10-month MBA. Students can begin their studies in either January or September.  Combined with its stellar reputation, this timeline makes it an obvious choice for up-and-coming business leaders looking to step up on the international stage quickly.  When asked, “Why INSEAD,” one member of the Class of 2020 underscores this by saying, the “1-year intense MBA program provides a time and opportunity cost advantage.” In terms of financial cost, the tuition of an INSEAD MBA is reported as $95,920 as of January 2020 intake—a significantly less pricey option than many other similarly elite 2-year MBA programs around the world.

With a student body representing over 90 nations, another stand-out aspect of the INSEAD Class of 2020 is their diversity. In fact, many students acquired their pre-MBA credentials and work experience outside their country of origin.  In most cases, their decision to earn their MBA at INSEAD takes them to yet another new country, making the arc of their ascent as business leaders truly international.

Members of the incoming class featured in the upcoming pages also draw from an intriguing array of non-traditional work backgrounds for MBA candidates. With experience in areas from shipping to non-profit management, and arts and culture investment to aviation, some of the 2020 class plans to use their time at INSEAD to move into a new career, whereas others look to leverage their newly-acquired business knowledge to further focus and optimize the real-word experience they already have.  INSEAD reports that its graduates have been recruited by over 300 companies, demonstrate a 91 percent job acceptance rate within 3 months of graduation, and an average salary of $109,800—the latter making INSEAD an impressive ROI.

For those students seeking a top MBA program with peers from around the world, INSEAD is a natural choice. The Class of 2020 reflects these aspirations and more, as they stand poised to bring the fresh perspective of their diverse world experiences as rising business leaders of tomorrow.  Read on for the stories of a few INSEAD students who joined the class in September.
