Emory University’s Goizueta Business School has joined other leading programs in opening up an early admissions option for college seniors.  Prospective students from any institution can secure their spot in the One-Year MBA, Two-Year MBA, or Evening MBA class in the spring, and then defer matriculating for two to five years to gain work experience.

How the Early MBA Admission Program Works

Those interested in early admission to the Goizueta MBA should apply during their senior year of undergraduate study. Applications must be submitted by April 15, 2020, and admissions decisions will be made by May 15, 2020.

Once accepted, students then defer their MBA enrollment for two to five years as they enter the workforce. During this time, candidates will have access to a range of Goizueta resources, including an annual consultation with the MBA admissions office, career mapping with the MBA Career Management Center, and more.

How to Apply

To apply, qualified candidates should fill out the online application. As part of this, they must supply:

  • Two written essays
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Resume
  • Video Essay
  • Transcripts
  • Details of post-undergraduate career plans
  • GMAT or GRE scores (unless you are an Emory undergraduate student with a B or better GPA)

The application fee is waived. Some applicants may also be selected to complete an on-campus or online interview.
