Yale SOM MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / On-Campus

Questions asked:

1. Please tell me a little more about your current role.
2. Why do you want an MBA?
3. Greatest success?
4. Biggest failure?
5. What will you contribute to Yale SOM?

Notes:
The interview itself was very conversational. The interviewer, a 2nd-year student, told me that it was blind. Only thing that threw me off in the beginning was the fact that my interviewer said the interview would be an hour long. Was 30 minutes on the dot, including questions I had for my interviewer.

Yale SOM seems to make a spectacle out of the interview days, going as far to call them Super Days. I counted roughly 100 people, but Yale allows you to bring a partner. Breakfast/Lunch provided, Dean speaks, professor goes through a presentation, tours of both Yale University and Evans Hall, club fair and a happy hour at the end. All in all a fantastic experience.
