I was put in touch with an alumnus in my city and we arranged over email to meet up in person at a cafe.
It was a pretty short and standard questions interview.

Overall, it was very pleasant and easy-going. The student was one with similar goals as mine, I think they do that intentionally to gauge how well thought out your goal really is and what your understanding is of the recruiting for it. The student did try to understand my resume and background after I did the ‘tell me about yourself’ question. The student summarized my most recent role into 1-2 sentences and asked me to confirm if her understanding of it was correct.
My final thought would be that they really did try to get to know me in the 30 minutes of interview time.
