The mission of the Dartmouth Tuck School of Business is to develop wise, decisive leaders who better the world through business. Through the foundational first-year core curriculum, innovative second-year electives, and immersive, team-based learning experience, Tuck MBAs accumulate the functional expertise of strategic thinking and management, the analytic skills used to develop and defend points of view, and the empathy to understand and work effectively with others. They learn to make the right decisions by thoughtfully defining, analyzing, and solving problems and seizing opportunities. They understand how and when to take risks for the better. Leaders are shaped out of Tuck, with the ability to craft a compelling vision for the future and to guide execution of the vision with and through other people.
