Why did you make the decision to attend business school? Why now?
I wanted to develop my management skills and build a more specialized skill set, and be a part of a powerful network.

Because the now is the best time. I had 7 years of working experience in pharma industry and now is the best time to accelerate my career.

Why did you choose ESADE? What factors figured most prominently into your decision of where to attend?
Esade is a great place that values diversity, innovation and cooperative leadership. In addition, it has great opportunities in scholarships. And, of course, Barcelona has an important place that what makes Esade a dream school.

What do you think is your most valuable or differentiating contribution to the Class of 2024?
I have a unique background; I studied medicine, then I worked in pharmaceutical industry almost for 7 years. Also, I am the only person comes from Istanbul, Turkey 🙂

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that didn’t get included on your application:
I am a yoga instructor and planning to give a yoga class to my classmates- seems like we will need to do meditation and stretching a lot this year!

Advice for Current Prospective Applicants:
–What is one thing you would absolutely do again as part of your application process?
Talking with alumni of the b-schools that I was considering gave me a great vision!

–What is one thing you would change or do differently?
I would start learning Spanish before I arrive here. 

What is your initial impression of the ESADE students/culture/community?
This is such a diverse, brilliant community that have experiences from broad areas. I loved it! 

What is one thing you have learned about ESADE that has surprised you?
This year MBA campus is in Pedralbes, which is a great area 🙂

What is one thing you are most anxious about in your first year?
Many things I have seen for the first time in my life; like finance and accounting. But I am happy because there are so many friends in my batch who are so happy to help me! 

What is one thing you are most excited about in your first year?
All the cultural events and the life in Barcelona. And of course, exchange programs and study tours for the next year!

Has the COVID-19 pandemic affected your personal application or admissions process in any way? If so, how? 
I preferred to do my MBA in a class format instead of online, and I’m very happy with my decision.
