The interview was with an alumnus, but he was from a different industry than I am. It was an hour long conversation. And honestly one of the most conversational interviews.
It started off with him introducing himself, his career trajectory before and after Booth. Then he asked me:
1. About myself (here we connected on our personal stories)
2. My goals (long term & short term)
3. Why MBA? Why now?
4. Ideal team? What role would I see myself playing? (He mentioned Booth’s culture around teams)
5. My leadership experiences
6. A time I convinced someone
7. A team conflict or difficult situation with someone in the team
8. Why Booth specifically?
9. Anything he hasn’t covered that I want to highlight.
10. Questions for him
It was great speaking to the interviewer and he ended off on a note about staying in touch. I believe it went okay and now waiting for the results!
