Get to know some new members of the Georgetown McDonough MBA Class of 2024 in this edition of Real Humans: MBA Students.

Out of 1,537 applicants, 249 students matriculated into the McDonough MBA program in the fall of 2022. Thirty-four percent are women and 42 percent are international. Thirty-eight percent of U.S. students identify as African American, Asian American, Hispanic American, or Native American. Seventeen percent identify as underrepresented minorities.

During their undergraduate years, McDonough MBA students had an average GPA of 3.29. Nearly 32 percent had earned degrees in business and nearly 20 percent studied engineering. Almost 17 percent had majored in economics. Roughly 14 percent pursued degrees in humanities and seven percent in social science. Nearly five percent had majored in government/international studies.

Prior to joining McDonough, students accumulated an average of 5.7 years of work experience. When it came time to take the GMAT, McDonough MBA students averaged a score of 697 with the middle 80 percent range landing at 640 to 740. For those who chose to take the GRE (48.6 percent), they averaged 317 overall.
