This edition of Real Humans: MBA Students takes us to France to meet some new members of the MBA Class of 2024 at HEC Paris.

The Class of 2024 is comprised of 235 students, who may matriculate in September or January (class profile stats are an estimate until students matriculate in January). Thirty-six percent are women and 96 percent are international.

During their undergraduate years, a third of HEC Paris MBAs earned degrees in engineering. Twelve percent had majored in business & commerce followed by 10 percent in economics. Seven percent had studied management and five percent had studied computer science.

Before arriving on campus, the HEC Paris Class of 2024 averaged six years of work experience. A fifth had worked in financial services and 16 percent in the tech sector. Fifteen percent hailed from consulting services. Ten percent came from other services and nine percent from manufacturing.

When it came time to take the GMAT, the newest class averaged a score of 690.

There’s a lot to love about HEC Paris and a handful of students share their insights and admissions journeys in the following pages.
