What do you like most about the December holidays?
I love everyone’s warm smiles and how we become just a little bit nicer and more generous.

What is your favorite holiday movie or book?
“The Grinch” – Original Cartoon Version

Do you have any campus community events or traditions at your school for the holidays?
Darden always takes a ski trip over winter break. We’re heading out to Park City this year with about 100 members of the Outdoors Club. My partner and I are stoked!

Do you have any advice or well wishes for current MBA applicants?
It’s okay to take a step back and enjoy time with your friends and family. Your essays, standardized test prep, and application will be there when you’re recharged.

What do you like most about the December holidays?
Reconnecting with friends and seeing family.

What is your favorite holiday movie or book?
“Elf”

Do you have any campus community events or traditions at your school for the holidays?
Each December, Darden hosts the BGIA Auction, in which students auction off products or talents, like hosting a dinner or making a cutting board. The proceeds all support a local charity, which both brings the giving spirit to Darden, and helps you find any last-minute holiday gifts.

Do you have any advice or well wishes for current MBA applicants?
You’re in the home stretch! As you’re putting finishing touches on your written pieces, reflect on what narrative they tell all together. Your story is most powerful when it’s honest and cohesive.

What do you like most about the December holidays?
The month is generally a great time to recuperate and slow down. It tends to be a time of travel and being with family. The festive cheer is my favorite part!

What is your favorite holiday movie or book?
“I’ll Be Home for Christmas” – with Jessica Biel and Jonathan Taylor Thomas

Do you have any advice or well wishes for current MBA applicants?
Rest. Spend time with loved ones. And travel!

The opportunity to take a well deserving break from academics to unwind, make merry with family and friends and most importantly plan ahead for the next semester.
