Emory Goizueta MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Adcom / Zoom

I just had my interview. I feel really good about it. My adcom made it comfortable and conversational. It was about getting to know me. Very straightforward. They weren’t trying to trick me or quiz me.

1. Why MBA?
2. Why now?
3. Why Goizueta?
4. Walk me through your resume, a few follow up or clarification questions.
5. Why your undergrad?
6. What will you bring to Emory?
7. Tell me about your current role and if you oversee anyone.
8. What’s your post-MBA plan? Which location?
9. What questions do you have for me?

They seemed to be on a strict 30 minute limit, but I had 6 minutes or so for questions.

They didn’t ask if I had talked to any alumni nor about any clubs/classes that I was interested in.

The adcom had reviewed my resume, but not my application. A second person does that and they correlate together and with the team to make a decision.
