In this edition of our Real Humans: MBA Students series, we hear from some new crew at Esade.

Esade’s MBA Class of 2027 showcases Barcelona-born talent alongside a truly global cohort united by entrepreneurial drive and values-driven leadership. Locals Alex Forns and Laura Sagrera bookend that spirit at home: Alex brings biosystems and agrochemicals expertise and is pivoting into healthcare, while Laura pairs consulting and retail experience with Ironman-tested grit as she builds toward launching a venture in consumer, lifestyle, or sports.

From Armenia, Armine Movsesyan arrived on campus with a decade at the nexus of policy, EU programs, and social entrepreneurship, seeking top-tier consulting skills to scale impact. Additionally, Dutch founder Onur Ucuncu brings 12 years of company-building in the creative industry and aims to expand internationally while paying forward hard-won startup lessons.

We also meet Putu Agus Prema Yoga, who brings eight years at Indonesia’s largest bank and a company-sponsored mandate to return with sharper strategy and leadership tools. Rounding out the class, Londoner Victoria Monk adds 11 years in sports marketing—especially women’s sport—plus ocean-rower resilience, and plans a venture at the intersection of sport, wellness, and tech.

Across these stories, common threads emerge: career pivots into healthcare and consulting, founder ambition fueled by Esade’s eWorks and collaborative culture, and a shared excitement for Barcelona’s global, innovative ecosystem. Together, the Class of 2027 embodies Esade’s blend of international diversity, practical learning, and purpose-led impact. Read on for more about their stories and admissions advice.
