Why did you make the decision to attend business school? Why now?
My background is rooted in engineering and technology, and I wanted to broaden my expertise with a strong foundation in business and leadership. I also wanted international exposure; living and studying on a different continent offered a chance to challenge myself, expand my worldview, and grow both professionally and personally. After several years of professional experience, I felt it was the right time to pause, invest in my development, and prepare for a transition into consulting and technology leadership roles.
Why did you choose Ohio State Fisher? What factors figured most prominently into your decision of where to attend?
I was drawn toFisher because of itsunique combination of academics, culture, and opportunities. The Graduate Assistantship was a major deciding factor, as it allows me to work closely with faculty, gain hands-on experience, and contribute directly to Fisher’s mission from day one. For example, my work in the Office of Career Management is giving me early exposure to the U.S. job market while sharpening my skills in career development and student engagement. I was also drawn to Fisher’s welcoming and collaborative culture, which stood out to me during the admissions process. Finally, the school’s location in Columbus, a growing and innovative city at the heart of the Midwest, was especially appealing. Columbus offers access to a diverse range of industries, from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, while also reflecting the values of community and opportunity that define the region.
What do you think is your most valuable or differentiating contribution to the Class of 2027?
I bring an international perspective as the only European student in my cohort, coming from Luxembourg, a small but globally connected country shaped by its multilingual and multicultural environment.. My professional background across engineering, transportation, and consulting allows me to connect technical expertise with business problem-solving. I also draw on my experiences from working on digital transformation and sustainability projects, which provide a global lens that I enjoy sharing in class discussions and team collaborations.
