Like everyone else, I had a team based discussion over Zoom with 5 other candidates and 2 second-year admissions fellows. We were let into the Zoom meeting roughly 5 minutes before the start time and had a bit of small talk/chatter before the admissions fellows got us started. They laid out the instructions and format then let us kick off the next 35 minutes. We wrapped up our discussion & presentation by the end of the 35 minute mark. The admissions fellows then shared that we would do a 1-on-1 interview, each of them taking 3 applicants and they showed the order in which they would conduct them. I was first with my interviewer and we were in a separate breakout room. She asked “Why MBA and why Wharton?” then let me ask questions the rest of the time. She said after we completed that I would be free leave the Zoom meeting. Decisions will be posted via portal Dec 15th.

The interviewer kind of hinted I would be rejected or waitlist in the end of the meeting. Could feel the negativity from him in the when I received his email. He seems not to be grateful about or satisfied with his Ross experience. Don’t know why he volunteered to interview for the school. The result could be exactly the same if I was interviewed by someone else. But I have to say this alum showed me a poor image of Ross even if I was accepted. Well, that’s the way it is. Congratulations to all the folks who made it.
