Beyond the 3 ‘Whys’ (MBA, Now, Tuck), my interviewer was mostly interested in my work experience (what I do at work, achievements I’m proud of, how I serve my community), and asked some questions designed to discreetly assess my preparedness for an MBA program in a rural setting (what I like to do outside of work). I also believe my interviewer was assigned to me as we shared a similar background (worked at same firm pre-MBA), so the common ground helped ease us into the interview. Altogether, very conversational, straightforward, and casual!
