It was a 30 minute group discussion about creating a leadership retreat experience that’s hypothetical. We had 2 second-year students interview us and observe us during the group based discussion, then we broke off individually with each second-year student where they interviewed us for 10 mins. They asked us what our takeaway from the discussion was then asked us behaviorals such as what our proudest work achievement/accomplishment was and how we plan on adding value to the community.
What surprised me was how we couldn’t ask questions after the interview, but what didn’t surprise us was how the group discussion was structured since we knew it beforehand. I can conclude that Wharton is unique based on their interview style and how they emphasize cohesion.
