Going with Wharton for their strong finance program and really enjoyed their community.

Haven't seen many people posting about going to the "worst" school they got into but scholarship was a huge deciding factor for me. I also live in southern california and there are other significant financial benefits for me to stay local for school.

Need advice choosing between Booth (x) and Ross ($$). I'm a nontraditional candidate, pivoting from bedside healthcare into tech/healthtech product management or consulting (to eventually specialize in a firm's healthcare practice). Dream job would be to work for the health division of a big tech company (Amazon Health/Google Health/Apple Health).

I was waitlisted at both CBS and MIT Sloan in R2 and admitted in R3 /post R3. Patience is key and stay engaged if you’re waitlisted, reflect on what makes you unique and emphasize that to admissions! I’ve worked at FAANG before and want to go back to tech after graduation which is why MIT Sloan was my top choice!

Applied to 5/8 schools in r2, interviewed at 3, admit only at Marshall & WL at Fuqua. Retooled my strategy for r3 and went 3/3 including a full ride — glad I abandoned a nonviable strategies.

Like that Tepper seems more focused on tech and entrepreneurship than Stern (more consulting and finance focus), and slightly more than McCombs. Tepper also gave me much more in scholarships than the other programs. Chatted with several students and faculty to come to this decision. #1 advice is a clear set of goals during/post MBA and why X school
