Background - Corporate finance. Domestic applicant. Currently live and work in the Midwest.

Goals - MBB/T2, GM , LDP, potentially CPG. IB is out. Strong preference for landing in Chicago. Not entirely opposed to living elsewhere in Midwest/east coast

Torn between ROI vs prestige. Booth would be all loans. Is it worth it for the network/brand?

I’m super grateful, and I couldn’t go wrong, but at the end I disagreed with people who thought extra loans were worth the ‘better brand’. I loved my visit at MIT, and I felt it had everything I needed for my career. I also appreciate the connection between Sloan and broader MIT, super excited!

Undecided - WL at Duke. Got off Darden waitlist with $$. Great options. Certain on banking—not consulting.

I've put down a deposit at Ross and Cornell's first - will try to get their $$ higher after Darden came through.

Prefer Duke area longer term. Cornell crushes NY IB but can't I get same outcome from the others?

I decided to attend Tuck because I felt it was the best choice for me based on their strong career outcomes, and the level of support from the school, students & alumni.
When I think back to what I wanted from an MBA before I applied, Tuck most fit that.
My advice for future applicants is, decide what you want first and pick a school that fits.

Deciding between Booth and Haas. Studying at Haas feels like it would give me a natural edge for recruiting with tech companies. Booth seems to have a stronger brand globally, and it's hard for me to say no to that. However, I feel like I'd have to hustle a bit more at Booth to land tech jobs, since it's not a tech focused school. Cost is similar.

Veteran with 5 years experience in Tech. My primary goal is to pursue product management, but also interested in exploring consulting and finance (PE Ops and IB). My geographic preferences are the Northeast and West Coast. At this point, my decision is between Wharton and Kellogg.

Consulting or general management post-MBA. Visited for admitted students events at Darden, Yale, and Kellogg. They're different programs but I really liked all 3 and I'm confident I would've been happy at any of them. $ wasn't a huge factor for me. Kellogg was my #1 for most of the process and my weekend there sealed it. Couldn't be more excited!
