I interviewed with a CBS alumnus who graduated 13 years ago. My biggest takeaway from having an alumnus as your interviewer is that you need to be ready to go deep into your short-term and long-term goals.
We had a great conversation, he was extremely nice. The first question he asked me was, How do you envision yourself at age 50? From there, we went deep into a discussion about my goals and spent almost 30 minutes talking about them.
Halfway through the interview, he asked me, Why CBS? and Why an MBA? But honestly, I don’t really think he cared that much about those questions. He didn’t take any notes throughout the interview.
