Really enjoyed speaking to my interviewer, they knew my application inside out and wanted to spend time getting to know me beyond the cover letter. I was nervous about the adcom-style interview going in and thought they would nitpick, but they really just wanted to round out specific parts of my story that the application did not focus on. It was supposed to be 30 min, but we went to 35+.
1. Any updates or changes to application since you last applied?
2. What is your involvement with getting XX (particular type of high-stakes stakeholders that I deal with a lot in my job) involved in the work you do?
3. How competitive was your current position to get?
4. Clarifying question on my job, roles and responsibilities, and how its structured.
5. Tell me about a time you had to delegate to a peer, and you didn’t have superiority necessarily. Follow-ups on this.
6. Biggest challenge you’ve faced in your professional career?
7. Tell me about a time when you had to do something you found really boring? Follow-ups on this.
8. What are your short/long term goals and why MBA?
9. Why Sloan?
10. When you think about your cohort or team, what is your biggest value add- both in the classroom and outside? Follow-ups on this.
11. Any Qs for me?
