The interview was totally on the side of the 2nd-year student. For instance, in my interview the interviewer started mentioning that she had not even read my CV, so she asks me to introduce myself briefly. Then, she hits with typical questions of “Why McCombs?” And “Why an MBA?” After answering those, she had nothing else prepared, so she put it on my side again: “There are still about 20 minutes, feel free to ask me whatever you want. Otherwise, we can leave it at this point now.” I continued asking questions about her profile and MBA journey, and I was able to build some rapport in spite of the situation. After 22 minutes, the interview was over.
