After the TBD I had a 10 minute one-on-one interview. The adcom asked just 3 questions.

  • Why MBA?
  • Why Wharton?
  • What other clubs and activities do you plan to join?

Then I had time to ask her questions.

Northwestern Kellogg MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / First-Year Student / Zoom
There was no icebreaker and we got straight into the interview, which made me a bit nervous, especially during the first question. The interview was mostly focused on my goals, had behavioural questions and some follow-ups based on my responses. Questions Asked: Tell me about yourself. Short-Term Goal? Why MBA? Why Kellogg? Michigan Ross MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Alumnus / Zoom
The interview was warm and conversational. They started by sharing their own background, then asked me to walk through mine from scratch. Most of the questions were behavioral and not the standard list, so I had to think on my feet. There was plenty of time at the end for questions. UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Adcom / Zoom
Interview was pretty straightforward. It was conversational and there were no curveballs or trick questions. They emphasized that they’re looking at culture fit, alignment with the core values, and whether you work well with others. Come in with a roadmap for your two years and a clear idea of what you want to do post-MBA.
