I have enrolled in the program, but I'm expecting decisions from other B-schools R3. However, as an international, I want to stay back in the US at least to repay the loan I will incur. But Penn State is not STEM Designated, so no option for the 36months OPT. Will this affect US firms from sponsoring my H1b, and how will not having a STEM designation my goals of staying back in the US. I'm willing to forgo the deposit for a STEM-designated program.
