Apply to the Practice MBA Summer Forum by May 10

For our readers who are matriculating to business school this fall, we wanted to let you know about a new two-week pre-MBA bootcamp.

The Summer Forum offered by Practice MBA is specifically designed to place non-traditional MBA students on an equal footing with their more experienced peers in the incoming class and to bridge the language and culture gap for international students.

The two-week program was created to give you a competitive edge in three areas:

  1. Career Development – Develop strategies to navigate the MBA recruiting process and secure a competitive summer internship after your first year and convert it to a full-time offer.
  2. Academic Preparation – Get the foundational business skills to achieve strong academic results in your first semester, even if you have minimal prior commercial experience or exposure to fundamental business concepts.
  3. Language & Culture Orientation – Learn tips for successfully transitioning into a new linguistic and cultural environment. Arrive on campus knowing how you conduct yourself in a new professional, academic, and social setting.

Beyond what you learn in the classroom, you will have the chance to network with students going to other leading business schools.

Summer Forum is taught by a small team of accomplished MBA alumni and industry and higher education veterans who have unparalleled experience in delivering training and individualized coaching at leading MBA programs. Members of the Practice MBA team graduated from top MBA programs including Chicago Booth, Harvard, Wharton, and Yale SOM.

The forum will be held this summer from July 7 through 22 at the University of Washington campus in Seattle.  Accepted program applicants can enroll in one, two or three of the available course offerings focusing on career development, academic preparation, and language and culture orientation. The program fee ($2,500 for one course, $3,500 for two courses, $4,500 for all three courses) includes tuition, housing, and a $450 food voucher.

The last day to register is May 10, 2013. To learn more about the Practice MBA Summer Forum, send an email to [email protected] and please mention to Practice MBA that you learned about the Summer Forum through Clear Admit.
