The following LBS interview questions and report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 applicant. Good luck to them!

The interview was in Mumbai, India. The alumnus I interviewed with was in Finance – I met him in his office and that was where we had the interview. It was not a blind interview – he had my entire application form in front of him and was asking me questions.

The following were the questions asked:

1. Tell me about yourself
2. Why LBS?
3. You seem to have a lot of extracurricular involvements – tell me what interests you in these specific activities?
4. You work directly with clients who have 30+ years of experience – why should they trust you (I’m a consultant in healthcare)
5. Do you have any professional regrets/failures?
6. Tell me about your childhood and where all you have traveled?
7. What are your post MBA goals and how does LBS fit into the puzzle?
8. Presentation question

These questions were in random order. There was no overall flow or logical procession.. The conversation was relaxed and informal – the interviewer was very attentive and took notes. He was polite and didn’t volunteer much information.

I was offered admission last week, although I have another offer and am not sure if I will take this up.
