The following Harvard Business School / HBS interview questions and report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 applicant. Good luck to them!

My interview was with two members of the admissions team, one primary interviewer and one observer. Overall, it was the most conversational interview I’ve had so far and felt deeply personal because the interviewer had thoroughly reviewed my application already. It felt as if the team had thoroughly prepared what they wanted to ask me.

Types of questions asked:
-Tell me about this important extracurricular activity. What have you learned from it? How difficult is it to balance with work? How has it impacted you? Will you stay involved if you attended business school?
-Talk to me about the structure of your company. How is it set up? Where do you fit in to the organization? Can you tell me about this tricky project (that was barely mentioned in my app) and elaborate? Can you tell me about a difficult person you had to deal with? Be specific.
-What would a supervisor from your past employer say about you? Why did you choose to work there?
-What is one decision the leadership team at your current company should make?
-What’s your 10-year vision for your career?
-What do you do for fun? Be specific.
