I applied Round 2 and interviewed on-campus with a second-year student on February 19th, 2018.
1. How did you feel you performed in the TBD?
2. Is the role that you took in the TBD the role you usually take within teams?
3. Why are you interested in the Wharton MBA program?
4. Do you have any questions for me?
Very straightforward interview with a second-year student. He was calm and easy to talk to, which was nice as it was immediately following the TBD. I was confident in my TBD performance and my interview responses. I asked about his involvement and recruiting efforts and we had some short off-shoot conversations about our mutual interests in certain clubs/activities. The interview lasted no longer than 12-15 minutes — being direct and concise is necessary for such a short duration.
Though I was happy with my performance, I was waitlisted on my Round 2 application.
