Why business school? Why now?
I chose B-school because I wanted to hone my strategic business skills and gain a deeper understanding of the features necessary to operate a profitable company efficiently. With the economy being heavily depressed by the pandemic, I saw this as the perfect time to expand my knowledge and business acumen.

Why Carroll? What factors figured most prominently into your decision of where to attend?
Having gone to BC as an undergrad, I always felt a strong connection to the Heights and I had very fond memories here. When choosing a school to go to, BC definitely held the home-court advantage and now I am on track to achieve double-eagle status.

What do you think is your most valuable or differentiating contribution to the Class of 2022?
One of my most valuable contributions is the fact that I have already spent 4 years on the Heights connecting with some of the most influential people on campus. I know who to talk to when trying to get a new initiative off the ground, and I am also able to connect fellow classmates to less publicized resources on campus, that have helped me greatly in the past.

Fun fact that didn’t get included in your application?
My favorite tennis player is Nick Kyrgios.

Post-MBA career interests?
I am interested in Management Consulting and Financial Analysis.

Advice to current prospective applicants:
–One thing you would absolutely do again as part of your application process?

Maintain great relationships with your professors because they have your best interest at heart. They can be your strongest advocates and many of them can serve as guides when navigating the rigors of graduate school.

What is your initial impression of Carroll’s students/culture/community?
The BC community is very friendly and welcoming, which is no surprise since the recruiters chose a cohort that would mesh well and complement each other.

One thing you have learned about Carroll that has surprised you?
The professors are very funny, and they are able to break down even the most complex topics into smaller, more manageable doses of knowledge. You really are learning from the best.

Thing you are most anxious about in your first year?
I was worried about the level of work, but the adjustment was rather smooth and I have managed to create a schedule that works for me.

Thing you are most excited about in your first year?
I was most excited to meet all my new classmates, and I enjoy learning from them in each interaction.
