This edition of Real Humans: MBA Students takes us to Spain to meet some new members of the Esade MBA Class of 2023.

182 students comprise the MBA Class of 2023. Forty-one percent of the class are women. Ninety-six percent are international students, representing 42 nationalities. Twenty-seven percent come from Europe and the same percentage joined from Latin America and the Caribbean. Nearly a quarter of students came from Asia and 13 percent from North America. Another eight percent joined the class from MENA and one percent from Africa.

During their undergraduate years, 39 percent of Esade students earned degrees in business and management. Twenty-two percent had majored in engineering and 10 percent in the social sciences. Nine percent had studied economics and five percent each humanities or science/healthcare.

Esade MBA students in the Class of 2023 averaged an age of 28.3 at matriculation and 5.5 years of professional experience. Twenty-one percent came from the consulting industry. Nineteen percent had worked in manufacturing and 16 percent in financial services. Seven percent each came from healthcare or CPMG. Six percent had worked in tech before attending Esade. The rest spread out across other industries, including other services, retail, media and others.
