CBS MBA Interview Questions & Report: Early Decision / Alumnus / Virtual
I had a virtual interview with an almunus. It was an hour long conversation, discussing:
1. Introduction (he asked a lot of questions here on Why selected particular major, about my work projects, what did I recommend, he tried to understand my background in depth)
2. Why MBA? Why not a PhD/other masters? (He again asked follow-up questions on my motivation)
3. Why Columbia?
4. A leadership role I have taken
5. Questions for him
The interview had basic questions but there were a lot of follow-up questions which threw me off my flow but I tried to keep my calm and answer them. At the end, he was supportive of my candidature and gave me even what could be things I should focus on during my MBA.
I got admitted finally!
