Vanderbilt Owen MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Second-Year Student / Zoom
My interview was with a second-year student. We started with a short introduction and then discussing some technical issues we were both having. The interviewer went over the format of the interview, went over their background, and then proceeded to ask the questions below (not in exact order).
1) Walk me through your resume.
2) Why MBA and why now?
3) Post-MBA goal?
4) What schools did you apply to? Why Owen?
5) What skills do you want to develop?
6) What value will you bring to the class?
7) How would your superiors/peers describe you?
8) TMAT you worked on something with a negative result. How did you respond?
9) What do you like to do for fun?
Very conversational and laid back throughout the interview.
