My first interview was conducted by an alumnus who graduated in 2020. The overall interview lasted an hour and a half, which was longer than most of my other interviews, but he was very pleasant and open so it wasn’t very taxing. The overall flow of questions:
1. Tell me about yourself.
2. Explain your career choices (From undergraduate to now).
3. Why MBA?
4. Why INSEAD?
5. Short-term and Long-term goals?
6. Campus choices and Geography preferences post-MBA?
7. Questions for him.
Most of the interview was an informal interaction and very fluid in nature. He was very open to sharing about his experiences, learnings and motivations from INSEAD which was very nice. It speaks a lot to the kind of culture and diversity that is promoted at the school!
