The most casual interview I’ve ever been a part of. The interview is scheduled for 20-30 minutes and it definitely goes quick. My interviewer started off by introducing herself and giving me a brief rundown of her professional experiences. She then asked about my personal/professional experiences and why I was interested in McCombs. It was then a very informal Q&A where I was able to ask any question I wanted about her experience and the program. She didn’t ask any interview or behavioral-type questions. Overall, a positive experience that was very informal and relaxed.
I submitted my application at the deadline, GMAT score was a weak point in my application. I have received interview invitations from a few other schools. At this point, I am uncertain about choosing CBS if I receive a positive response from another MBA.
Architect from a real estate family business, thought this was one of my better apps. Do any experts know if my GRE was considered low for an ORM? Or was it simply that they admitted too many in R1 and R2 became that much more competitive?
