Why did you make the decision to attend business school? Why now?
I wanted to build a stronger business foundation and make connections that last a lifetime. It also felt like the perfect time to keep the momentum going shortly after undergrad and grow both personally and professionally.

Why did you choose Duke Fuqua?
Duke has always felt like home. I loved the people, the support, and the sense of family I had here as an undergrad and athlete. I didn’t even apply anywhere else because I knew Fuqua was where I wanted to be.

What do you think is your most valuable contribution to the class?
I’m very disciplined and reliable, but also empathetic. As a former athlete, I know how to push through tough times while supporting others and keeping things positive.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself:
I’m completely addicted to candy—especially gummy bears. I’ve probably visited close to 100 candy stores across the U.S., and I can’t go a day without something sweet.

Post-MMS Career Interests:
I’m pursuing a career in medical sales and will be joining a company in the RTP area as a Sales Manager after the program.

Advice for Prospective Applicants:
–What is one thing you would absolutely do again as part of your application process?
Visit campus! You can feel the energy and community in person. Gut feeling is a real thing.

What is your initial impression of the Duke Fuqua students/culture/community?
Everyone is incredibly welcoming and genuine. It’s such a diverse, supportive group, and you feel like you belong right away.

What is one thing you have learned about Duke Fuqua that has surprised you?
How fast everyone becomes family. People truly care about each other—it’s real, not just words.
