Applicants to Harvard Business School can expect some big news from the school on Wednesday, October 7th, at 9 a.m. EST. On the logistics landing page for admissions interviews, the school wrote the following:
“To access our online interview scheduling system, log in to your application on Wednesday, October 7 at 9:00 AM ET and view your Status Update. Please register for an interview slot by selecting an available date and time from the calendar displayed on your screen. Slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and are marked as unavailable once they are filled. Please note the time zone of the interview when registering for your interview. Upon registration, you will receive an email that confirms the time, date, format, and location of your interview.
“Please register for an interview slot by Friday, October 9 at 12:00 PM ET at which time your access to the online scheduling system will expire. If you are having difficulties registering for an interview, please contact [email protected].”
Note that past announcements have included further consideration (waitlist) and early release as potential Status Updates. Opening the scheduling for interviews lands four weeks after the program’s Round 1 deadline of September 9th. Admissions interviews can be conducted virtually, on-campus or at an off-campus hub.
Of course, MBA LiveWire will light up with applicants reporting their invites. And if there are any snags or delays in the release, reports of those will surely surface on LiveWire as well. You could choose—optimistically—to spend your waiting time preparing for an interview. The Clear Admit HBS Interview Guide can give you an important head start and our new Interview Simulator can help you practice.
And as always, remember that the Clear Admit Interview Archive also offers a repository of applicant-submitted details about the interview process.
Best of luck!
