USC Marshall was the first leading business school to achieve gender parity while others have achieved or continue to strive for that benchmark. The Forté Foundation has also consistently reported that women have been gaining or holding their ground on b-school campuses–and, in both 2023 and 2024, reported record highs. Real Humans of the Manchester AMBS MBA Class of 2026
In this edition of Real Humans: MBA Students, we get a peek at student life at Manchester AMBS through the eyes of some new members of the MBA Class of 2026. The Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) MBA program hosts a diverse and dynamic community, drawing professionals from across the globe, who complete the MBA over the course of 15 or 18 months. 113 students joined the MBA Class of 2026, an increase from the usual class size of 95 to 100. Ninety-seven percent of the new class are international, representing 27 different countries.

This edition of Real Humans: MBA Students takes us to northwestern England to meet some new members of the Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) MBA Class of 2024. 99 students matriculated at the University of Manchester for the latest AMBS cohort. MBA class size in Europe varies as much as it does in the U.S. London Business School and INSEAD lead the pack with around 500 students each. At the other end of the spectrum, some European schools have fewer than 60 candidates. ESMT Berlin and Imperial College of Business fall at the smaller end with class sizes of 40 and 53, respectively. 2018 Financial Times Ranking of Top European Business Schools
