The interview was super conversational. We bonded (I think), and we started talking about my company and my country for a bit.
Obviously the following questions were asked (he mentioned that he must ask them, as we were talking about other things):
– Why MBA? Why CBS? Why now? (Take the chance to mention your experience with NYC, if you had any, as he was smiling when I was talking about NYC.)
– Walk me through your resume.
– Short- and long-term goals?
– Plan B for Short- and long-term goals?
– Talked about my extracurriculars. We were discussing one of them for like 15 mins (I got nervous to be honest).
He mentioned at the beginning of the interview that it should take 45 mins. However, we spent 1 hr and 5 mins. I sent him a thank you email and still hasn’t responded (I am not expecting one).
Maybe I missed a thing or two from what I was asked. However, nothing was new or weird. If you master the 3 whys and know your resume very well, you will be fine.
Good luck for R3 and upcoming years’ applicants!!
