Received invitation to interview at the end of January via the portal. Received the name of my interviewer in advance and was responsible for reaching out to them to set up the interview by the mandated deadline. Had around a 10-day turnaround time from invitation to interview deadline.
Behavioral interview with a second-year student on Zoom that lasted around 45-50 minutes. Blind interview, but interviewer did have my resume in hand. Questions generally included:
- Tell me about yourself.
- What are your goals/why MBA/why Fuqua?
- How do you plan to contribute at Fuqua?
- Tell me about a time you took constructive feedback.
- Who is a leader you admire and why? How have they influenced your leadership style?
Interview was fairly conversational, and there was plenty of time at the end to ask questions. I strongly recommend researching your interviewer and tailoring your questions to what they’re involved in. This was the interview I prepped the most for, and I’m very glad I did. Ensure your “why Fuqua” is extremely clear, specific, and authentic to who you are.
