I had promised myself that I would come back after my interview and contribute to this community as this is perhaps the most concise source of information regarding Wharton. Hence this post. I would like to request others to also contribute to this forum.
I had my interview yesterday. Very amiable with behavioral questions interlaced with questions from my resume. Against all the initial feedbacks that I had got from various sources, it wasn’t at all mechanical.
Started out with a question about my work experience. Slowly she mixed it with behavioral questions like..
- Tell me about a time when you worked with people on a deal (specific to my profile)
- Tell me about how you manage people (I talked about management of junior and senior resources)
- Tell me how you manage a team of volunteers (specific to my profile)
- Tell me what spurs you to do MBA (this particular question kept popping in and out at various points)
Finally, she asked me if I had questions for her.
The interview went on for about thirty-five minutes.
Fingers crossed now. Good luck to everyone!
