The following Michigan Ross MBA interview questions & report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them!
The interview was rather straightforward and was not set up to trap the candidate. The interviewer asked the typical MBA admissions questions of “Why an MBA?”, “Why now?’, and “Why Ross?”. As Ross has such a unique culture, extra time was spent on the last question.
I also took the opportunity to participate in the Team Exercise immediately after the formal interview. I found the experience to be low-stress and actually quite enjoyable. The group sat around the table and was task with creating a business problem and solution from a set of randomly drawn words. Second-year students sit with each group and monitor the groups interaction as well as the short required group presentation at the end.
