Weekly Roundup for Clear Admit’s MBA Podcast

In this week’s MBA Admissions podcast we began by discussing upcoming MBA admissions deadlines. For this upcoming week, Ohio / Fisher, Texas / McCombs, USC / Marshall, Indiana / Kelley, Arizona / Carey, UCI / Merage, Florida / Warrington, NYU / Stern and Rice / Jones all have admissions deadlines. Notredame / Mendoza and Ohio / Fisher are scheduled to release final decisions. Insead is scheduled to release Round 1 interview invites, and we predict that Chicago / Booth and UCLA / Anderson will also release Round 1 interview invites. Harvard Business School did release its Round 1 interview invites last week, as predicted. Their release process was a little different to prior season.

Graham highlighted Clear Admit’s current webinar events.  On Tuesday and Wednesday, Clear will host its Real Humans webinar series. Signups are here: https://www.clearadmit.com/events

Graham noted two admissions tips Clear Admit recently published, one of which focuses on the hardest MBA admissions interview questions, the second discusses the value of additional letters of support.

Clear Admit continues its Real Humans series which focuses on current students at top MBA programs. This week we profile MBA students from Johns Hopkins / Carey and Berkeley / Haas. Graham then mentioned a recent podcast he recorded with Yale SOM’s dean of admissions.

For this week, for the candidate profile review portion of the show, Alex selected two ApplyWire entries.

Two MBA Admissions Candidates Reviewed

This week’s first MBA admissions candidate is a veteran with a 645 GMAT score. They also have a lower GPA from the service academy.

This week’s second MBA applicant is from Ghana and has a strong career to date. They have a 310 GRE score, and we encourage them to re-sit the test.
