I was interviewed by a second-year student who seemed a bit new to the interviewing game. I felt like there were awkward pauses that I almost had to steer the conversation.
She asked typical questions like:
- Why MBA? Why now? Why tuck?
- Describe a time when you went above and beyond for someone else.
- What will you contribute to tuck?
- Short- and long-term goals?
Maybe it was the fact that this was a Zoom interview, but we weren’t really able to connect fundamentally. Maybe this means I’m not a good fit for the school, but isn’t the point of the interview to also kind of sell the interviewees on the school? I was pretty excited about it and my interviewer was pretty awkward; Tuck was pretty high on my list so I’m sad and hoping they don’t put much stock on the interview…
