The interview was resume-based, conducted in person, off campus by an alumnus. It started with Walk me through your resume and included questions about a surprising piece of feedback I have received, my greatest achievement, and my biggest challenge. I was also asked Why MBA, Why now, Why Booth, which clubs I am interested in joining, and what I would contribute to the Booth community.

A significant part of the interview focused on my post-MBA goals, with several detailed follow-up questions about the specific areas and roles I want to pursue. The interview ended with time for my questions. It was really conversational and didn’t follow a script or specific order of questions.

My advice for applicants would be to be very clear about your post-MBA plans, since interviewers may ask detailed follow-up questions about them.
