Congrats on your acceptance to both HEC and IMD! These are both excellent programs with strong reputations in Europe. Some questions for you to help you think this through:

1. FIT: Have you visited both schools? Doing so - and seeing the programs in action - might help you to discover your fit.

2. PLACEMENTS: Have you done any digging into pharma/healthcare placements coming out of these programs? If one program or the other has better connections with key pharma companies, that could certainly tip the scales.

3. DURATION: IMD is a shorter program (12 months) vs. HEC (16 months). This may influence your decision one way or the other depending on how long you are willing to be out of the workforce and whether you might be looking for a longer academic experience, etc.

4. SIZE: HEC, with two intakes, has a larger student body (at least twice as large) than IMD (100-120 students each year). Think about what you are looking for in terms of your class size.

5. GEOGRAPHY: If you know that you want to work in Paris post-MBA, then it might make sense to pursue your MBA in the Paris suburbs for ease of access to employers there. If you prefer to be in Switzerland, or other parts of Europe, then the HEC advantage for Paris will clearly be less important.

In the long term I would like to start my own business. I prefer Europe, but I guess that studying in CBS would be a door opener anywhere, with the M7 "seal of approval". That's why I'm hesitating. In the long run, CBS may have a greater and bigger network in Argentina and all round the world, and the prestigious of an M7 is undeniable. I really can't decide. (0)
