The group interview had 7 students, and people were friendly, but a bit aggressive in making sure they had speaking time (which was different compared to the multiple mocks I did). The follow up 1:1 interview was with a 2nd year who asked about what I learned from the group interview, any application updates, what I look forward to doing at Wharton, and about my goals. The 2nd year was quite friendly, and this portion felt very conversational.

I interviewed on campus for Harvard Business School’s MBA program. There were a number of activities on campus (taking a class, panel of students, etc.), but unfortunately I was working for most of the day and did not get to participate (hoping that doesn’t count against me!). I applied to Wharton Round 1 and was invited to do a Zoom TBD with other applicants – we had two second-year students reviewing our session and doing the individual portions. Our TBD group was pretty on-top of it, except our presentation ended about a minute and a half early, which we couldn’t do much about. This year’s prompt was about Leadership Initiative ventures, and our group had a bunch of really creative ideas.
