Actively working the waitlist at CBS. I have about 10 days to send a deposit to Duke and/or NYU. I aim to work in any of the MBB consulting firms. Duke has a highly collaborative and warm culture with highly structured support for recruiting. Stern has the NYC factor + EQ/IQ. I love NYC and can see myself being really happy there. What do I do?!

I am undecided on schools. Impact of scholarship money is a factor. I’m looking to go into high finance after graduation. I got waitlisted at Wharton, so I’m curious how to navigate the deposit deadlines at the schools I was accepted at.

I am aiming for MBB, preferably Southeast region for consulting.
Really struggling to decide which school, as UVA has a strong consulting and brand reputation, however, passing up on two full rides is a struggle.

Trying to decide if I should go to Tuck without a scholarship or go to a school that did give me a scholarship. I want to do corporate/strategic finance within media or tech. Would love to stay in NYC post-MBA.

Background in tech startups (market researcher). I would like to go into corporate strategy and be open to consulting. I'd be open to roles in healthcare/CPG for strategy. Thought about going into big tech at first but think I'd like to pivot from the tech space with the current landscape. I would like to stay in the South/move to East. Leaning UNC

Deciding between attending Ross Full Time or doing Kellogg/Booth PT. Recently got a job offer that would be 50% more than what I make today and more than what my role would pay coming out of tech.

Ideally stay in tech and pivot to strategy and operations from strategic finance. Would prefer to stay in the Midwest as well. Thanks!

Waitlisted at Wharton, which would be my first choice, but really struggling between Sloan and Kellogg.
Kellogg seems to have: nicer people, bigger alumni names in Brazil, cheaper cost of living, more welcoming for wife
As an engineer, MIT is a dream school of mine, I liked the people and the brand name is hard to beat

Interested in consulting with healthcare focus but using this as a way of exploration too (speaking to folks doing healthcare IB). Prefer Midwest location.

Post MBA Goals are CLDP Program at a Biotech/Pharma Company. Trying to decide what makes sense for myself still.
Waitlisted at MIT currently.
I am very lucky to have $50k of my own money to pay for this but only covers half of what I have left to cover at GU. Looking at what option truthfully makes the most sense for me with my goals.

Ross ($120K) vs Yale SOM (No $$) for Tech/Consulting.
Not considering Anderson; CBS currently WL.
International (China), no green card; 6 years at a top Chinese tech company as PM, leading a small AI team; Compensation close to top MBA post-MBA starting salary
Goal: Tech (PM/strategy) or consulting in the U.S.; open to returning to China if needed.

I am currently working in a domestic growth PE fund in India. During MBA, I aim to target IB recruitment. Being in NYC seems like a ln advantage (apart from cost of living) for a career in finance, but Tuck’s brand name and close knit community also seems like a leverage especially as an Indian student

Just got admitted to both Chicago Booth and NYU Stern (FTMBA) and I’m struggling with the final decision. I’m a Latam international student with 5 years of experience in finance (financial advisor) but no IB background, and my goal is to pivot into investment banking in NYC post-MBA.
Given the current landscape, would love to hear your thoughts.

* My classmates really matter to me for networking and long-term ROI

Debating Yale for mission alignment vs Fuqua w/ higher scholarship(Forte)
Also wondering how much Forté/Consortium matter
(US citizen, but all work experience in Peru)

Interest is in IB. Darden was my top choice and got accepted from waitlist but didn't get any scholarship. Difficult to justify the price now that I have increased scholarship from Owen and possibly from Emory as well. Leaning more towards Emory given that they also have good placement for IB even though not at the level of Darden.
