As an international the NU loan option and the location Kellogg offered were alternatives that ultimately pushed me towards Kellogg as opposed to Tuck. Also have my wife joining, where a commitment to Evanston made more sense as opposed to Hanover

Post-MBA goal in Marketing

I’m looking to work in tech after graduation, ideally in marketing or strategy, though I’m flexible and keeping an open mind regarding industry and job function, except for consulting or investment banking, which I know I'mnot interested in. Regarding location, I’d like to end up in New York City, but it’s not a deal breaker.

I feel very fortunate that I did not have to make a difficult decision. Columbia has always been my dream school, and the scholarship is the cherry on top. Given my career goals in finance (IB/IM), I can’t think of a better fit than CBS.

I would advise applicants to apply in EA/Round 1 and to articulate career goals that builds on their work ex.

My decision mainly came down to choosing between Wharton and Kellogg’s MBAi program. Given my technical background, I felt Wharton’s curriculum offered greater flexibility and the opportunity to learn from a more diverse group of classmates. I also had a very positive experience during Wharton’s admit weekend, which helped solidify my decision.

My goal is MBB on west coast, preferably Seattle. How should I weigh scholarships vs geography?

I really liked Tepper. The feedback I’m getting from the finance club is that out of 9 students that were recruiting for IB, 7 received offers and 6/7 were from BB/MM banks. Am I shooting myself in the foot for not going with Johnson?

have got an admit from SDA Bocconi Milan. (10% Scholarship) My Target industry post MBA is Travel and Tourism or Consulting. I want to stay in europe after MBA atleast I can payoff my loans. My expense will be upwards of 1,00,000 Euros including everything all of which I will take a loan for.
I am confused on what to pick and need some suggestions

I was overwhelmed at first but once I took a pause, I feel confident that I want to be a part of the smaller, stronger GSB community and that learning in the larger, more segmented HBS environment and with exclusive use of the case method isn't the best choice for me. Hopefully I get enough meaningful aid!

Fxxx it we ball. Wharton was my dream school from the beginning. I know it’s crazy to turn down a full ride but I’m young and will be working for at least the next 20 years. The money will come back I guess (I hope)

Actively working the waitlist at CBS. I have about 10 days to send a deposit to Duke and/or NYU. I aim to work in any of the MBB consulting firms. Duke has a highly collaborative and warm culture with highly structured support for recruiting. Stern has the NYC factor + EQ/IQ. I love NYC and can see myself being really happy there. What do I do?!

I am aiming for MBB, preferably Southeast region for consulting.
Really struggling to decide which school, as UVA has a strong consulting and brand reputation, however, passing up on two full rides is a struggle.
